Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting by Jolinda Hackett

I love spice, pumpkin, and carrot cakes (and you will be seeing some of those recipes pop up here, and there).  This is a great go-to recipe for icing any of those.  Don’t forget to make your homemade piping bag and decorate your heart out!

Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting


  • 8 oz/1 container Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese or your favorite brand of vegan cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup soy margarine
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice


  1. Combine the cream cheese and margarine.
  2. Slowly add the powdered sugar, then vanilla and lemon juice.
